Upon graduating the University of Tennessee in 1981, Michael began his career in real estate. He quickly became a top producing real estate broker for an upscale second/ vacation home developer on the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau. Today he is a 38 year North Carolina and South Carolina real estate broker whose expansive career has included sales, marketing, technology, and development management inside the luxury second home and vacation home market. While he has seen many changes in the industry over the years, one thing has remained constant. Long term success in real estate is defined by developing and nurturing strong client relationships attuned to their needs, desires, and wants. While it’s a business that is typically associated with expertise and knowledge, ultimately relationships that recognize value in maintaining a strong human connection matter most. 

A seasoned businessman, Michael brings significant insight and perspective to the table – to the advantage of his clients. He credits his long term success in real estate to transparency, honesty, integrity, and professionalism in working with clients and in his other business relationships.
